dc.description.abstract | For the first two months of this year, the Quezon City Public Library (QCPL) have been doing great in providing library services to the constituents of this city. It has launched notable projects like the “Super Bookman” in the Lagro Branch Library and the “Booktanical” garden in the Novaliches Branch Library. But an unexpected pandemic due to COVID-19 struck the whole world including the Philippines. On March 13, 2020, a Friday, a state of calamity was declared in Quezon City as Metro Manila's most populous city recorded six cases of Coronavirus disease or COVID-19.
