dc.description.abstractThe 8th Advancing Libraries Archives and Museums (ALAM), UP Library Science Alumni Association and UP School of Library and Information Studies collaborated and organized the annual seminarworkshop with the theme "Creating the Right Balance between Access, Usability, and Security towards Inclusive LAMs". This event happened last March 6-8 at The Palladium Hotel in Coron, Palawan. ALAM aims to support the objectives of UNESCO Information for All Programme (IFAP) and to integrate them in the context of libraries, archives and museums (LAMs). This seminar-workshop’s objective is to help librarians, archivists and museum personnel to promote and widen the access to information as well as making LAMs inclusive, safe and secure spaces to all.en_US
