The Association of
Librarians in the Public Sector (ALPS) Inc. conducted its 2nd National Convention of
Public Librarians with the
theme “Looking Beyond the
Horizon: The Future of Public
Libraries in the Philippines”
at the University of the Assumption, City of San Fernando, Pampanga on June 26-29,
2018. It covered topics relative to public librarianship
with the view of improving
practice, service and professional competence among
public librarians working in
various institutions.
