Pinoy Reading Buddies and Design Thinking Seminar at QCPL

Abstract

Pinoy Reading Buddies, Inc aims to get Filipino children to collaborate with their peers and to effectively communicate their ideas about their environment and community. Students should aspire to use their education to improve their communities and eventually, change their world! PRB, Inc. collaborates with teachers to develop teaching methodologies that turn students into change agents in their communities, using literacy and science as effective problem-solving tools. PRB, Inc. in partnership with QCPL conducts seminars for the teachers and librarians for them to develop their teaching methodologies. On July 31, 2018, around 47 teachers and librarians from 39 QC schools attended the Pinoy Reading Buddies and Design Thinking seminar, held at the Quezon City Public Library conference room.
