QCPL LIBRARIANS ATTEND INTERNATIONAL BENCHMARKING AT KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA

Abstract

QCPL Librarians were privileged to attend a 5-day International Benchmarking of Libraries at the Asia’s Garden City of Lights, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia last October 27-31, 2013, funded by the Quezon City Government. It was sponsored by the Phil. Association of Academic Research Librar ians (PAARL) with the aim to bench mark with Ma laysia’s Libraries, observe the latest technological progress and infrastructures, learn new trends and meaningful concepts of library services, foster professional and cultural exchange between Filipino and Malaysian Librarians and establish a linkage among Malaysian library associations for future collaborative undertakings .
