Greater Project 4 Branch Inter-School Spelling Bee Contest

Abstract

Greater Project 4 branch conducted its 12th Year Spelling Bee Contest from various schools within the vicinity of Project 4 area in February 19-21, 2019. This is a joint project of Quezon City Public Library- Greater Project 4, the Progresibong Edukasyon tungo sa Kapayapaan at Kaunlaran (P.E.K.K), Greater Project 4 Book Lover’s Club and Barangay Marilag Council. It aims to encourage the youth to participate in a spelling bee competition that can result in several benefits. Spelling bee does not only provides a valuable educational experience for the youth, but also allows them to engage in healthy competition. Other benefits from this educational fun educational activity are learning the correct grammar, enhanced vocabulary, having a competitive spirit that will boost their confidence as well as increase their knowledge on vocabulary and spelling.
