COPYRIGHT AND PLAGIARISM

Abstract

September 8 has been set by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to celebrate the International Literacy Day with the theme "Literacy in a Digital World". In line with this, the Technical Services Section of the Quezon City Public Library facilitated a seminar with the topic "Protecting Creativity in a Digital World : Understanding Copyright, Avoiding Plagiarism" held on September 22, 2017 at the QCPL-Main Conference Room. Ms. Michelle A. Flor, Copyright Examiner, at the National Library of the Philippines, lend her valuable knowledge, experiences and expertise and answered questions from librarians and library staff of Main and Branch libraries.
