City Librarian’s Corner: Lessons and Legacies of Mayor Herbert M. Bautista

Abstract

Last May 7, 2018, during the early morning flag raising ceremony of Quezon City Hall officials and employees, the most awaited book compiled by the QC Public Library Publication Services, entitled Lessons and Legacies: 50 selected speeches of Mayor Herbert M. Bautista was finally launched. It was a six (6) year in the making project of the QCPL which started in 2013. This project was made possible, after hearing the speech of Mayor Herbert Bautista, being the Guest Speaker during the 65th Founding Anniversary of the QCPL. Part of his speech was that “he hoped that someday, there will be a compi lation of his speeches” starting from the time he started as SK, with a brief description of why and where he delivered his speeches.
