QCPL Payatas Lupang Pangako Branch Toy Library was featured on GMA News TV on July 27, 2018 in one of its segments on the “The State of the Nation with Jessica Soho”, the flagship news program of GMA News TV, anchored by Ms. Soho herself who is a veteran broadcast journalist and the country’s 1st recipient of the prestigious George Foster Peabody award. Ms. Janette Fernandez, producer of the State of the Nation with Jessica Soho interviewed Mr. Edsel Ramirez, the founder of the Philippine Toy Library. According to Mr. Ramirez the mission of PTL is to give happiness to children irrespective of the context of their life. “Let kids be kids”. “Let them experience how to play.” “It’s their right to play”.
